In a time shying away from spiritualism, and perversely deifying pop culture icons, we meet a prophet who bridges the gap. NOBODY. A masked street corner huxter gathering followers in the spirit of nihilism, and nothingness. He preaches nothing. We see this masked, starter jacket wearing figure, on the street slowly gathering followers. Passing out bible looking BOOKLETS with the NOTHING logo on it. He starts getting followers, more and more. Then they all go to the middle of the desert - with Nobody at the helm. Everyone takes out the books they all received, lay face down in the desert. Each one opens the book, revealing it is not filled with prophetic writing but quite the opposite, poorly Photoshopped hardcore celebrity pornography on every single page. Methodically Nobody takes out a handgun and shoots each of them in the back of the head as they f*ck the desert dirt. One by one, not caring or hearing the death before them. After they all stop and are dead, Nobody says, “it’s alright” and they all get up, leaving their post digital head wounds and blood comped in and moving with the shot. It’s not a behind the scenes, it was a rite of passage. The passage to nothingness.
